Sunrise Run 2024

THE SUNRISE RUN

The Sunrise Run is a 5k race/run (including walk) organised in memory of East Coast Athletic Club's late friend and highly respected club member - Patrick 'Paddy' Campbell.

This annual event, will raise much needed funds for the Northern Ireland Chest Heart and Stroke charity.

The 5k is open to everyone, so come along and run, walk or jog 5k!

There will be prizes for the top three male and female finishers.

So, why so early?

In organising a run in memory of Paddy Campbell, we wanted to ask 'what was Paddy's favourite run?'  The unanimous answer was early morning, therefore it was decided... this race has to be early!  The route was also one which Paddy himself completed on numerous Saturday mornings as part of the popular Larne parkrun - he always strived for a new personal best!
